A perfect August summer evening saw nineteen members of the ESEC meet at the Manor Pavilion Theatre in Sidmouth to watch a live performance of ‘Dial M For Murder’, part of the 2025 Sidmouth Summer Play Festival.
‘Dial M For Murder’ was originally written by English Playwright Frederick Knott and then adapted for the 1954 film directed by Alfred Hitchcock starring Ray Milland and Grace Kelly.
Members enjoyed drinks in the bar before curtain up then took their seats for the two hour performance with a plot full of twists, turns and betrayal!
